MKMMA Week 3-Why Do I Garden?

Why do I create and spend time thinking about positive messages? Do I do it for my friends? Do I do it because I am bored? Do I do it because I think I know it all? I will tell you why. I do it for you and I do it for me. I do it for our children and our grandparents and everyone in between. I do it for our ancestors and our loved ones who have yet to come into this world. I do it because in my heart there is great love for all of mankind. Your color, your race, your gender, your religion, your sexual preference, your political views, your favorite color…none of that matters to me. What matters is your well being and what dwells in your heart. What matters is your peace of mind and that you know you are loved.

If you are in tune with yourself, with your mental and physical state, that harmony will radiate out into the world and warm the souls of those who are lost and in need. If each and everyone of us takes the time to nurture and water our own garden, not only will we, but the world will reap its benefits. We all have a garden of some sort, something that we love.

Let the universe see the beauty and color of your petunias. Let it taste the goodness of the peaches you have loved and protected until ready for harvest. Till the deep rich earth with your bare hands to cultivate the seeds you plant. Let the bees and butterflies drink the sweet nectar of flowers you have helped grow from seedlings. Let the fragrance of wisteria drift through the air and create a gentle scent that soothes the soul.

When I write to you, I am playing in my garden. I am dancing in my heart. I am singing with the birds. I am flying with the angels.

Take a moment to breathe. Take a moment to do something you love. Take a moment to tell someone you love them. Water your garden. We will all be thankful for the peace and beauty you create. Plant seeds of love everywhere you go. Sow and so shall ye reap.

I love many things, but first and foremost my family. I have three beautiful sons, now young men, a devoted husband, and a wonderful family. I love nature, dance, singing, writing, playing guitar, and connecting with people. I feel very lucky and blessed. I believe in the light of the universe and the good of mankind. Life is good. I am thankful.

  1. Beautifully put…I too, love the inner peace, joy, equilibrium..and only being that for others is blessing them..

  2. Noelle – Please go into WordPress – there should be somewhere in your Dashboard that you can name your site. When I get the notiications that you’ve posted to your blog, it comes to me as “Site Title” has posted a new entry. Looking at the top left of your page there is a little white headline that says, “Site Title”. This is where the name of your site will show up. I think it’s Noelle Suzanne’s MasterKey. I’m not the best at the tech stuff – maybe Izanna and Marea have more about this in Digital Connections. Have a great day – love reading your blog!❤

  3. Love this analogy, Noelle! I can see, hear, feel all you are sharing! Thanks so much for this gift!
