MKMMA Week 7-A Song and Dreaming with The Universe

In the Master Key Master Mind Alliance course I am taking, one of my assignments is to make a dream board. It represents my dharma, my definite major purpose in life. I have discovered one of my purposes is to be totally creative and spread my light into the world through song. This is what I want. This is what I crave. It is one of the reasons I am here on earth. I love to write songs, sing, play my guitar and perform. Dancing, writing and singing have always been dear to my heart  ever since I was a little girl.

As I was searching for a positive quote I came across this truth written by Ralph Waldo Emerson. “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” It resonated with me so much, I started writing a song called ‘Emerson.’ Just days after I started writing my song, I received a card in the mail from a very dear, lifelong friend, Sheree. I quickly opened the envelope and pulled out the card. There on the front of the card was the cutest, little, blue eyed owl along with the very quote by Emerson that inspired me to write my song.

In fact, the first words to my song are the words from Emerson’s quote, the very same words on the front of the card. I was amazed, thunderstruck and choked up all at the same time. Tears welled up in my eyes. Surely it was a sign from the Universe telling me to keep doing what I am doing, writing songs and following my hearts desire.

A couple days later in my Master Key webinar I mentioned the incredible synergy between the song I was writing and the card I received. Dayna, one of the members on the panel in the webinar, kindly asked me to sing my song, which I did. Mark J. then asked me to come perform ‘Emerson’ in Hawaii if indeed the class votes to have a retreat there in the Spring. If so, there will be an evening for us called Dreaming with The Universe. Wow!!! Incredible!!! What an honor for me to share my heart and love of music with my fellow comrades.

Another connection in my story is my friend Sheree. Oddly enough she, and her daughter, Levani, are the only people I know who live in Hawaii. She sent me the Emerson card that compelled me to mention in the webinar that I had written the song. Upon singing it, I was asked to perform it in Hawaii for Dreaming with The Universe. Dreaming with The Universe is such a magnificent name. It’s so fitting for me because I do it all the time. Since my song is unfinished I may even incorporate the words ‘Dreaming with The Universe’ into it.

My dream board has blue waves on the bottom. I wanted them to represent the ocean but I have not been there in many years. My old self, the woman I was prior to taking the Master Key course, would have said I won’t be going to the ocean anytime soon. As Mark J. likes to say, ‘Fo get about it!’ So I told myself the waves would represent the river in the town where I live. Now the current is pulling the waves in a different direction. I hear the Pacific Ocean calling my name, calling me to come to Hawaii. “I’m coming,” I reply as I trip the light fantastic and dance across the waves  in the direction of my dreams.

I love many things, but first and foremost my family. I have three beautiful sons, now young men, a devoted husband, and a wonderful family. I love nature, dance, singing, writing, playing guitar, and connecting with people. I feel very lucky and blessed. I believe in the light of the universe and the good of mankind. Life is good. I am thankful.
